Happpppyyy Halloweeennn
Today is halloween, 🎃, they say it is not celebrated in any way in korea, but I am at burger king getting asian style truffle fries so you tell me. I had been to asian style 7 Eleven earlier and my favorite old lady cashier let me grab some dried persimmons out of a bucket, and if that ain't halloween spirit I don't know what is, if you would allow me to be so american.Image world

On Writing
I have been reading lots of blogs lately, and I feel overwhelmingly like I'm intruding on someone else's personal life. My blog would never aim to make you feel this way. More of an “oh that was cool, back to playing frogger for me” feeling than anything. My moral: Writing, like life, should steer clear of reality.
On literature
One of my favorite books is the mysterious stranger by Mark Twain, As the celebrated writer William Faulkner called him “the father of American literature.” but so do I. And I’m sure you do too, so maybe it’s not that good of a quote. The point is it’s a good book by a good word man and I am reading it. That's the update.Satan is halloween adjacent, plus paradise lost is Frankenstein's favorite book, plus what he named himself after, here's a passage from that:
SATAN SPEAKS:O Hell! what doe mine eyes with grief behold,
Into our room of bliss thus high advanc't
Creatures of other mould, earth-born perhaps,
Not Spirits, yet to heav'nly Spirits bright
Little inferior; whom my thoughts pursue
With wonder, and could love, so lively shines
In them Divine resemblance, and such grace
The hand that formd them on thir shape hath pourd.
