On Butlers
Now I don’t have any pictures so you are going to have to take my word on this. We attended a cafe, where 7 butler boys were our waiters. Now these boys all had side jobs in musical theatre and acting, so do with that what you may.On Communism
The U.S Embassy was very cool, communists tremble at the sight of it. Lots of freedom, lots of white people.At Insadong we explored gift shops and the music arcade, now I didn't take any photos so you must use your imaginations for this part. (Or for those with weak imaginations, The internet awaits. We found this down the street from the embassy, it was about three stories high, and in these stories, there were instruments from the floor to the overhead-floor(for lack of a better word) when we went to the second floor they had, and this will especially require imagination, an accordion store, with a rack full of the squeezebox monthly magazine, and from ceiling to ground-ceiling (for lack of a better word) full of accordions, it was the single greatest squeezebox reseller in south korea.
I ended up buying an ocarina.
On festivals
I attended a festival wherein I had traditional korean snacks, and talked to older ladies about flowers. Saw lots of pictures of their favorite plants and learned some new gardening tricks, the number one being to have patient, I will try this the second I get home.Poem of right now:
Sweet And TwentyO MISTRESS mine, where are you roaming?
O, stay and hear! your true love 's coming,
That can sing both high and low:
Trip no further, pretty sweeting;
Journeys end in lovers meeting,
Every wise man's son doth know.
What is love? 'tis not hereafter;
Present mirth hath present laughter;
What 's to come is still unsure:
In delay there lies no plenty;
Then come kiss me, sweet-and-twenty!
Youth 's a stuff will not endure.
